When we are younger, we dream of our lives to come and, as we grow older, we reflect on those childlike dreams we once had.

I created Dream Long Gone after interviewing my grandmother. I asked her questions that led her to reflect on her own life. Even though her dreams as a kid did not play out as she originally intended, she can still say she truly enjoyed her life as it was filled with “a lot of good memories.”

Dreams are amenable and subject to change as one’s self evolves. I hope Dream Long Gone leads you to reflect, and wonder, is it a dream long gone? Or is a dream simply altered?
