Preggerz, A Sonnet
By Clara Perlmutter
The other day I read on TMZ
That Kylie Jenner’s gonna be a mom
You can’t accept just anything you read
But this one I believed with much aplomb
For ratings will go up to reach the moon
We all will want to watch her stomach grow
And when the child is born we all will croon
But then we’ll go back to the status quo
Kylie will return to living large
While Baby will be snoozing back at home
It’s like her pets, they’re someone else’s charge
They’re props sometimes, though, shiny, silver chrome
When young, poor girls get pregnant they are shamed
But Kylie’s kid will only bring her fame
